In this paper, I have scrutinized Ah Cheng's fictions from the angle of Beidahuang's cultural characteristic. By analyzing the concrete texts, I have discovered: Firstly, Ah Cheng's fictions embody a characteristic that immigrants' culture influence Beidahuang and the inhabitants growing up in it in every aspect. Secondly, Ah Cheng pays attention to the art of time and space intertwining in his historical fictions inserting historical bibliography and emphasizes the historical implication enriched in Beidahuang's culture. By using the perspective of Beidahuang's culture skillfully and selecting local culture's spirit and core in Ah Cheng's works, we can realize the importance of local culture motivating his fancy and talent. Therefore I have drawn a conclusion that Ah Cheng's fictions are full of Beidahuang's local cultural characteristics and endure in the local cultural fictions of contemporary China.
