| The outbreak of Ant-Japan War brought about great changes in both the whole social life and writer's creations .With the falling of Shanghai and other large cities ,literceture and art activities became stagnate .While Anti-Japan mood of the whole nation rising an unprecedented height .many writers went inland ,moved towards countryside and even marched onto front ,to different extents engaging in propaganda activities against Japan.With the united front in the whole nation was founded, a similar united front in literature and art circle, the Anti-Enemy Association in All-China Literature and Art Circle, came into being on March 27 th, 1938. After that, all the literature and art workers positively joined the organization or its branches, in turn the Anti-Japan -War literature and art movement reached its climax quickly. Therefore, a brief introduction of the captivities of the association and how it worked around the mainstream of Anti-war literature made up of the first chapter of this paper.After the foundation of the literature and art association, many branches were building up. These branches consolidated progressive literature and art workers, kept a good cooperation with the general association in anti-war propaganda activities, made literature and art serve the anti-Japan struggle well, richened and developed them, and put forward the anti -war literature and art movement in different regions. From the perspective of the general headquarters, and bused on lots of detailed materials, the second chapter mainly observed the activities of several chief branches and tried to give them an objective and appropriate appraisal in the history of anti-war literature and art.Finally, through a general study on the branches, this paper probed into their features and their relationship with the general headquarter, unveiled then" position and effect in the whole history of anti-war literature and art as well as their influence on later development in this field. |
