Recent Chinese Pronunciation is an important history stage in the history of Chinese phonetics. Its upper limit is the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasty and lower limit is around the Qing Dynasty. Ru Sheng had changed greatly during this time that changed the pronunciation structure and gradually disappeared. In order to look into the development of Ru Sheng, it is necessary to make clear the status of Ru Sheng within a certain Dynasty on a certain dialect. The thesis observes the question of the Yuan Ming Dynasty's Ru Sheng from a new aesthetic aspect. On the one hand it discloses the disappearance and changeover of the Yuan and Ming Dynasty's Ru Sheng of the North Chinese. On the other hand, it analyses the organization of Ru Sheng of the middle ancient from seven rhyme books and rhyme charts on the basis of the North Chinese during the Yuan and Ming Dynasty. After comparing both of them, it fully demonstrates the process of disappearance and changeover that the compiling of the Yuan and Ming Dynasty's rhyme books are slower than the Yuan and Ming Chinese. The thesis considers that though some rhyme books conserve Ru Sheng phenomenon during the Yuan and Ming Dynasty, it is not saying that the dialect in the same time and the same area has the Ru Sheng phenomenon. The North Chinese's Ru Sheng had disappeared and changed in the Yuan Dynasty, and perished during the Ming Dynasty. The thesis divides into five parts. The preface unfolds the reasons and meaning of the thesis. The first chapter summarizes the nature and the trend of disappearance and changeover of Ru Sheng. The second chapter discusses Ru Sheng words in Yuanqu, the Ming Dynasty's literary sketches, Laoqida Saying and Piaotongshi Saying. The third chapter analyses organizations of Ru Sheng of the middle ancient from seven rhyme books during the Yuan and Ming Dynasty. The forth chapter discloses the relation between the trend of disappearance and changeover of Yuan and Ming Chinese's Ru Sheng and the organization of Ru Sheng in the rhyme books of Yuan and Ming Dynasty.
