Sheng Fu "music Studies

"The Ode of Sheng"as a sort of music literature, describing the Chinese traditional instrument SHENG from the view of literature, is a very valuable historical reference for us to know more about this ancient instrument, SHENG. targeting the 6 pieces of"The Ode of Sheng"we collected. This paper is trying to analyze and appreciate the feature of SHENG from different angles, like the material, manufacture procedure, physical pattern of pronunciation, appearance and esthetic standard with the help of relevant article record and the physical SHENG from excavation. All the analysis and research was based on the level of musicology.Further discussion was done on Sheng Huang, composition for SHENG and its cultural attribute etc. Thus, the music historical value of"The ode of SHENG"was illustrated.
