Standard Chinese syllables are rhythmic phonetic fractions, which consist of consonants and vowels. The syllables in common use of which 396 phonetics samples are analyzed in four phonetic factors: timbre, intensity, tenth, and pitch. The thesis clarifies Standard Chinese phonemes in the view of acoustics as well as the phonetic variants patterns in different phonetic context - syllables. Upon acoustic analysis and phonemic principles, we achieve a new cognition of refining phonetic standard, including the phonetic features in initial consonants, simple or compound vowels and rhythmic feature of pitches.Based on"The Data Bank System of the Standard Phonetic Features of Different Level in PSC", the thesis analyzes the variants of affricative versus fricative in syllables: z, c ,s - zh, ch, sh - j, q, x which are obscure in physiology; analyzes timbre phonetic variants aroused from the different match of seven main simple vowels and initials as well as the tonal patterns with the help of drawing the synthetic spectrograph and pitch spectrograph. So that the data can be offered to describe phonemes in 396 syllables in common use according to the acoustic analysis. In the thesis, we make the data description of the phoneme typical standard, i.e. the qualitative analysis of the phonemes. Besides, we make the description of the possible phonemic variants and their phonetic contexts, i.e. the quantitative analysis of the phonemes. In conclusion, the standard of phonemes is phonetic patterns - a rang of phoneme variants in different contexts. The clarification of phoneme patterns is sure to be helpful and useful in researching, teaching and testing.
