Chinese Semantic Structure Of Noun Phrases Words Containing The Event Information Database Developed

In the research and practice of Chinese Information Processing, the understanding and generating of phrases in Contemporary Chinese require further research of the internal structural laws of them. This paper studies the internal structure of agglutinative NP that contains words of events, named NP(v), from the perspective of syntax and semantic, especially from the perspective of semantic. In this paper, we discuss the classification of the semantic relations between the components of NP(v), design the operational process to distinguish semantic relations, and describe the semantic structure information of NP(v) with structured method.We pick up approximately 6000 NP(v) items from an annotated corpus with the scale of about 20 million words, and then study the semantic structure information for each item by handwork. At last we build a relational database which describes the internal semantic structure information within these phrases, together with the corresponding inquiry tool. The research work of this paper provides a kind of linguistic knowledge resource for those who study the structural laws of this kind of phrases, which is meaningful to the theoretical research of NLP and linguistic engineering.The characteristic of this paper can be summarized as follows: 1. Discusses the classification method of the internal semantic relations of NP(v), designs the operational process to distinguish them and categorizes the 6000 phrases to their appropriate position; 2. Describes the internal semantic structure information with the help of a relational database, which provides a structural linguistic resource for Chinese Information Processing and the research about Chinese Grammar; 3. Builds an auxiliary annotating tool and an inquiry system, which improves the efficiency of information annotating, normalizes the annotated results and provides a lot of inquiry functions.
