The Two-year-old Children Basic Vocabulary And Semantic Structure Research

The acquisition process of individual native language is in fact a gradual process of constructing cognitive semantic network, the core of which has been gradually built before the age of five. (Li Baojia,2003)So far, there are two problems in child early language study:1.non-natural corpus and non-child theory. Non-natural corpus means spoken data is collected in the constrained situations but not in natural situations, and Non-child theory is a theory which gives priority to formal grammatical theory but not the theory of semantic grammar. As a result, some of the facts interpreted are not authentic, and the features revealed are expected to be more profound.As a basic work of research on children's semantic network, the main tasks of this study are as follows:1. 0.53million-word natural-language corpus of Chinese two-year-old children has been first built up by trace recording. Among them, about 0.13million-word data comes from children. The natural-language corpus has been equipped with search tools.2. By word frequency statistic, the basic words list of two-year-old children (606 words) and the a basic meta- semanteme list of children about two-year-old childre have been established.3. Adjustment and verification by semantic fields from Qi Wenhui, the combined basic words for children aged two were classified into semantic classes.4. Based on the theory of Elements Discrete-schema Constructed and Language sign-situational sign Replacement.(Li Baojia,2007), the The one-word sentence and the semantic patterns in two-year-old Children's Language Acquisition have been analyzed and generalized.Furthermore, This study insisted on field investigation and collection, artificial and mechanical, comparative and analytic research methods. The main achievements are 2-year old Chinese children Natural-language Corpus and The the basic words list of 2-year old children.
