Lu Bi-cheng was a famous female poet in the modern times of China. As for her view on theory of Ci, she liked the delicate factionary. She didn't refuse colorific words. She conceived that Ci was supposed to express true feelings. In her late years, she accentuated that Ci should expatiate dharma. With many frustrated and abundant experiences, Bi-cheng brought the enthusiasm for career and patriotism to her Ci. Ebb and flow in her life , lapse of time, loneliness and drifting were embodied in her Ci. Her Ci described human and scenery. Her Ci were delicate and lyrical. The themes and contents of her Ci were abundant and various. The styles were diverse and the glamour was grotesque. Bi-cheng had high attainments in sinology. Deeply affected by Confucian culture and ideas of Buddhism and Taoism, she felt distressed when she wanted to stand aloof from worldly affairs but she couldn't escape from the real world. Anxiety conscience, loneliness complex and escapism were embodied in her Ci. They were full of religious contents. Bi-cheng was a joiner. She had truck with some celebrities at home and abroad. In their responses, sometimes they discussed literature or current events, and sometimes they strived for magnanimous charities. Because of this, Bi-cheng was broad-minded and could compatibly accept all around her.The article will analyze Be-cheng's composing characteristic and particular accomplishment and will help us acquaint her valuation in the history of literature through her Ci, poems and essays. Chapter one properly generalizes and deeply analyses Bi-cheng's theory of Ci from the words of her Ci, poems and essays. Chapter two categorizes Bi-cheng's Ci and assesses their features and styles. Chapter three analyzes Bi-cheng's composing psychology on the basis of her Ci, poems, essays and her stories. Chapter four illuminates Bi-cheng's religious ideas and how theyare embodied in her Ci. The last chapter summarizes Bi-cheng's sociality and analyzes effects that Bi-cheng's sociality had on her.
