In the tradition of Chinese Hermeneutics, there are three expressions: "I have transmitted what was taught to me without making up anything of my own." and "The simplified word covers deep meanings." and "In official speeches all that matters is to get one's meaning through." They all belong to the early Confucian Hermeneutic ideas. Many scholars at home or abroad have made dissertations about them separately but rarely considered their inner relations on the platform of hermeneutical theories as a whole. From the comparative perspective and on the basis of the extant research works, the thesis will take the western hermeneutics as a theoretical background, through which to argue that there is a latent relation between these three expressions one another so as to point out that they all belong to the early Confucian Hermeneutical ideas. The consciousness of originally-happening-time included in the expression of "I have transmitted what was taught to me without making up anything of my own." and the idea of experiencing the live history included in the expression of "The simplified word covers deep meanings." are unfolding through the interactions between the interpreter and the text. Moreover, the interaction that avoids the opposition between the object and subject shows a pure situation for the present meaning, which is just what the expression of "In official speeches all that matters is to get one's meaning through." enlightens us. The hermeneutical situation would make us get a full meaning through the language more and more.Hope this thesis will make a reasonable discussion to advance the current researches and let us get a more penetrative appreciation of the early Confucian hermeneutics. So as we face the modern theories, we could strengthen our understanding of tradition.
