The early Qing Dynasty was the beginning of the theorization, systematization and specialization of poetry comments.During this period, poetry comments gradually became a style of poetic criticism, from a "casual conversation" to a monograph. After a cursory tour of the important poetry comments of the early Qing Dynasty, the essay is based on hermeneutic theory and seeks to clarify the historical situation of the transmutation of poetry comments in the early Qing Dynasty as well as the hermeneutic factors behind the subject of interpretation, the right to interpretation, the discourse of interpretation, and the effect of interpretation. The introductory section discusses the feasibility and rationality of the topic in three aspects: related studies and achievements in the field of hermeneutics, the collation and study of notes on poets and poetry, and the intersection of hermeneutics and poems reviews.Chapter 1,the historical situation of the transmutation of notes on poets and poetry in the early Qing Dynasty. The socio-historical reality from Ming to Qing dynasty, the rise of the science of simplicity, and the transformation of poetics from "Zong Tang expostulating Song" to "Zong Tang You Song" establish the historical perspective of the existence of notes on poets and poetry in the early Qing dynasty. The development of poetic hermeneutics in the early Qing Dynasty was inevitably influenced by this historical perspective.Chapter 2: The Generation of the Ideal Reader. The intrinsic properties of the hermeneutic subject influence and determine the entire hermeneutic process. In order to enhance the rationality and effectiveness of the meaning generation of the text, the early poetic scholars made fundamental, innovative, and limited provisions for the interpreting subject engaged in poetry interpretation in terms of "knowledge,""courage," and "emotion,The third chapter is on the freedom of interpretation.Chapter 3: The Freedom of Interpretation.Traditional Chinese poetics advocates the openness of understanding and the plurality of interpretation. In the context of the tradition of pluralistic interpretation, early Qing poetic scholars discovered that readers had great freedom of interpretation in their actual interpretative activities. The readers’ free understanding of poetic texts was prone to step into the relativistic misunderstanding of interpretation on the one hand, and on the other hand,it also promoted the rise of the concept of subjective interpretation centered on the subject of interpretation. The development of the concept of free interpretation, from "establishing the meaning according to the scriptures" to "interpreting the emotion with the emotion," has broken down the author’s right to have the sole interpretation of the work.Chapter 4: The subtlety of interpretive discourse."The reference is between the interpretable and the incomprehensible" reflects the anti-interpretive tendency in the field of Qing Dynasty poetic hermeneutics. The fundamental reason for the rise of the concept of "anti-interpretation" lies in the aesthetic characteristics of poetry itself. The development of "anti-interpretation" is essentially for the better understanding of poetic texts. The "text, rice, poetry and wine" theory reminds us of the influence of text type on readers’ understanding.Different text types have different interpretative strategies, and the mutual understanding of heterogeneous texts has also promoted the emergence of intertextual interpretative approaches such as "historical proof of poetry" and "historical proof of poetry".The notes on poets and poetry of "no reason but wonderful" reveals the self-sufficiency of the interpretation of poetic works. The poetic text does not need to resort to external logic and relations in order to complete the self-reference of meaning.Chapter 5: The Effect of Interpretation as a Whole. The early Qing poetic interpretation pursued a harmonious overall interpretation effect. The overall interpretation effect of the relationship between meaning and rhetoric and the overall acceptance effect of the divine realm of "wonderful harmony and boundlessness" promote the harmonious unity of textual understanding and self-understanding.
