The style of Mongolian fiction has changed in the new period, mostly embody narrative context, narrative mode, and narrative time. The purpose of this thesis is to study the narrative characteristic of Man du mai's fiction, research into the evolution of contemporary Mongolian fiction art.The thesis is guided by the classics narratology; analyze the narrative characteristic of Man du mai's fiction in narrative mode, narrative perspective, narrative voice, and narrative time and so on.The thesis is made up of five parts.Introduction recommends the significance of the subject selected, the correlative general situation, the origin of theory and methods.Chapter one analyze the narrative characteristic of Man du mai's fiction, mainly from narrative language and narrative style in the point of narrate and narrator.Chapter two discuss the narrative mode of Man du mai's fiction, benefit from the conception of narrative perspective and narrative voice, and try to find out the change and rule of contemporary Mongolian fiction art.Chapter three analyze the narrative time of Man du mai's fiction from chronology , duration and frequency, come out that contemporary Mongolian fiction is different from tradition fiction in the narrative time.Epilogue discuss the probability to integrate narratology with Mongolian and put forward own opinion on the prospect of researching Mongolian literature.
