Based on the technique analysis of some of his mikrokosmos, this paper tried to explain some phenomenon of Bartok's compositions, summarize the law of producing and abstract the spirit meaning inside. There are three chapters: The first chapter is about the nationality represented in Bartok's compositions, and the relationship between his music and folk music. The second chapter discussed the connection between the traditional music and Bartok's music that hedid not discard all the traditional contents- it is not the 'revolution' but the 'evolution', which extended the region of traditional music. This chapter also particularly described the evolvement of traditional music texture-pedal point in his music and summarized his creative, including the transformation of traditional music from the minor part into the main part, the reverse thinking on the traditional ideas, and the recombination of the traditional factors. The last chapter is the esthetics evaluation towards Bartok's music. At first it indicated the characteristics of Bartok's work having both form and spirit. Then it showed the ultimate concern represented in Bartok's works serving people, serving the whole human being, which presents the spirit of humanism. At last it discussed the life beauty of organic structure of Bartok's music, in which the same structure exists in the microcosmic layer (the language of music), the middle layer (the structure of music), the macrocosmic layer(the history of music). Bartok's music phenomenon is a high lever of regression of classical traditions and spirits.
