| "Cyber language" in this thesis focuses on all the special words or expressions used during CmC Computer-mediated Communication .The context which cyber language originates from is discussed in this thesis. It also uncovers the relationship between Chinese and English cyber languages and their developing currents by comprising the similarities and differences of the two. The thesis tries to adjust the attitudes to the original words, the transliterating words and partial-tone words which enter into the Chinese Cyber language System as the loan words. It also discusses some nonstandard ways of using Chinese and English cyber languages, puts the necessity and the strategies of standardization of the cyber language forward and predicts the developing trend of cyber language in the future as well. |
