Han Zhong and Xing An Fu were forbidden areas before Qing Dynasty. There were not so many people lived in this area. Many refugees came here on early Qing Dynasty.The government, encouraged people go there cultivation during Kang Xi and Qian Long emperor. People which lived there increased tremendously. The land was opened up. The commodity developed rapidly on the material base of high-yield introduced and output enhanced.The produce of commodity was flourishing at the age of Qian Long emperor. It could be classified two sorts. One was planted commodities, included silk, cotton, tea, tobacco, medicinal herbs, paint. The other was handcrafts such as lumbers, irons, papers, edible fungus. Han Zhong and Xing An related with middle Chang Jiang River closely. The main goods were solden to Han Kou. So it became the goods transfer station among Shan Xi, Si Chuan, Gan Su Province.Han Zhong and Xing An formed graduated market system with the development of commodity. Market town was grass-roots market. County town was middle market. Out of question, the cities of Han Zhong and Xing An were central market. The main factor which shaped this system was transportation preference. The market system was coincided with administration system because of undeveloped commodity economy.
