Yaqie - Liang Zhang Kui Couplet Criticism Core Areas

Liang Zhangju was a famous politician, scholar and litterateur in Qing Dynasty. Basing on Liang's theory of comment on couplets and the fact of the literature correlated with Liang's, I open out that Ya-Qie is the core category of Liang's couplet comment and has important academic value by referencing the information of literary theory and using the way of analyse and integration.In brief, the comment category of couplets is the basic conception which was used by people when analyzing, estimating and judging them. In lots of comment categories of Ying Lian Cong Hua, not only were Ya-Qie used more frequently than other categories, but they also present Liang's basic requirement and ideal standards to comment of couplets. So Ya-Qie was the core category of Liang's couplet comment.Ya has colorful meanings in the Chinese ancient literature theory. Generally speaking, Confucianism persists Ya as ZHENG(traditional), while Taoism thinks Ya as YI(ease).But according to the time both of them recognize Ya as GU(classical). Qie includes the meanings of correspondingt, aptitude , actuality and symmetry.Combining of the three meanings in Ya above and integrating with Qie, Liang presented his Ya-Qie which includes rich thinking and applied it to couplets comments in CongHua serials vividly. Leading by Confucianism , Liang expected couplets to spread Ya as ZHENG and strengthened its political and educational power based on Qie. On the other hand, Ya as YI predicate the author as lulu whom Liang admired . In style, Ya-Qie requires natural and classical couplets writing and shows out the author's wisdom and culture.Ya-Qie is classified as the core on couplets comments for its profoundorigin which include three aspects: politic , academic and poetics.The comment theory appearing in CongHua signs a milestone. It emphasizes the difference among other styles in three fields: ornament, utility and artifice. At the same time, the thought reflects the integration with the three and the aesthetics which is the inbeing of literature.Ya-Qie also indicates that the couplet is a style of high grade.
