A Study Of Liang Zhangju’s Three Kinds Of Langji Congtan

The Qing Dynasty is the heyday of the development of ancient classical Chinese novels.Classical Chinese novels are divided into legend novels and literary sketches,respectively represented by Pu Songling’s Liaozhai Tales and Ji Yun’s Yuewei Caotang Notes.Liang Zhangju inheritance and followed Ji Yun,who was a great literary sketches writer during the Reign of Jiaqing and Daoguang.The three kinds of Langji Congtan are his representative works,which have high research value.The book was created in Liang’s late period,when he retired from office and wandered between Jiangsu and Zhejiang.It is one of the best notes of Liang’s.However,the current academic focus and research on this book is not enough.And in the few research results,it is more focused on the value of historical materials and medical value.Especially the study of its literature and philosophy is not enough.In this paper,with the method of knowing people and discussing the world,the text of The three kinds of Langji Congtan is carefully interpreted.And through the in-depth analysis of Liang Zhangju’s life era,family background and behaviors of life,we can deeply excavate,summarize and analyze the ideological content,artistic characteristics and value connotation of this book.Therefore this paper aim to study overall and systematically of the book.The main part of the paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly explores the influence on Liang Zhangju’s creation by discusses Liang’s family backgroud,social intercourse,life experience and era atmosphere.The second chapter summarizes the contents of The three kinds of Langji Congtan from the aspects of describing the literati’s life,paying attention to the people’s livelihood and current affairs,and exposing the common social problems.The third chapter summarizes and refines the artistic characteristics of the book.It mainly includes three aspects: pursue the artistic features of creation through realistic way,like concise narration,and plain language and scholar tendency of using textual research techniques.In the fourth chapter,from the historical perspective of the development history of ancient Chinese novels,the author studies the status and influence of The three kinds of Langji Congtan in the transition period of novel development,and analyzes the value connotation of the text.
