Creative Techniques Of Debussy "g Minor String Quartet," The Study

Through researching the composition skill of Debussy's "g Minor String Quartet", this paper is trying to explore the diversity of composer's composition style in this quartet. The idea that the specialty and universality of composer's style are indivisible is introduced in this paper. It's undoubted that Debussy takes an important position in the Impressionism composers; however, we shouldn't ignore the other style characters in his pieces. From the four aspects-the special management of mode, the exercise of the Golden Section, the thematic development and the manifesting method of tonality, this paper is reviewing the diversity of composer's style, which includes both the character of Impressionism and the character of Classicism appearing in Debussy's late pieces. Debussy's Classical retrospection extends the aesthetic interest, and develops the new meaning. The innovative value of Debussy' work pioneered the new path for the composers in twentieth-century.
