With the development of the times electronic game has became one transmitter of culture. With the development of the technology the image of electronic game has became more and more delicate and beautiful. Among the Europe, America and East Asia, the image of electronic games have significant different styles.This thesis will research and analyze the difference between the image styles. This thesis will describe the phenomenon and find out the source of it. To prove the cultural diversity has inherent power.This thesis has four chapters. Foreword includes the electronic game describes the study aim of this thesis, methods of study in this thesis and the present situation of researches about electronic game. The study aim of this thesis is describing the phenomenon and find out the source of it and prove the cultural diversity has inherent power. Chapter one gives a brief introduction in characteristics about the images of electronic games, and indicate that this study angle research the images of electronic games. Chapter two to five is the main body of this thesis. In chapter two, there is a specific research on the image style of electronic games The research has chosen two online games World of Warcraft and AION as examples, use the method of comparative study, compare and analysis the styles of images about the two games. Image style of the former one is has more ugliness, true, wild and unrest, but the image style of the last one shows more beauty, ideal, calm and restrained. Besides the other styles of electronic games which produced in Europe or America are similar to the former one, while style of electronic games which produced in east-Asia is similar to the last one. The difference between the two styles of World of Warcraft and AION, is the epitome of electronic games which produced by Europe or America and the electronic games that produced by East-Asia. In chapter three, the thesis has discussed the relationship between the images of electronic games and aesthetic philosophy the aesthetic philosophy of both sides, through to the comparative Analysis about the Europe or America and East-Asia aesthetic philosophy in styles of electronic games.the author concluded that the style of the images of electronic games has little to do with the aesthetic philosophy only belongs to social elites, but closely related to the aesthetic philosophy belongs to all. And in this chapter will prove that the aesthetic philosophy belongs to all, it is one of the core of a cultural.Chapter four will discuss the differences between the two aesthetic philosophies, which will not under guide and strengthen artificially, generated by the culture itself. To discuss the difference aesthetic philosophy that produced by the culture itself, considered that aesthetic philosophy and the other cultural essences can retain and hold the characteristics of culture, to become the driving force of cultural diversity.
