Russian Literature In The May Fourth Movement Was Spreading In China Study

The time limit of "May Fourth" is 1917-1921. In this period the Russian October Revolution broke out and the Communist Party of China was founded. The paper inquires into the four questions on the Russian literature translation in the period "May Fourth" from the communication theory of comparative literature angle. Firstly, it analyses the reasons of Russian literature translations in China at that time. Secondly, having sorted out the materials of the Russian literature translation, it got the more exact number of translated Russian literature works for the first time. Thirdly, it gives a brief account of the characteristics of the Russian literature translation in this period. Finally, it inquires into the Russian literature's influences on the Chinese New Literature Movement . In all, it counteracts the former researchers' weaknesses in this study area and will push the study forward. This is the paper's values and meanings .
