Since The Reform And Opening Up New Words In The Technical Or Scientific Research

A great number of new words emerge into Chinese daily language with the Open-door policy, among which tech-words occupy a major place. Nowadays, tech-words of modern Chinese language play a more and more important role in the process of communication. By applying quantitative statistic methods and based on several typical dictionaries, this paper records a comparatively concrete and comprehensive description and analysis on novel tech-words in modern Chinese language from perspectives of quantity, meaning, structure, class, originality, standardization. This study not only helps to claim a role for tech-words in modern Chinese language, but also profoundly and objectively understands its development process.
