Research On Japanese-origin Regression Words In "Xinhua Loan Word Dictionary"

China and Japan are on the same strip of water and co-located in the cultural circle of Chinese characters.Since ancient times,there has been frequent exchanges in language.On the basis of ancient Chinese characters,the Japanese invented pseudonyms.In the early period of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,Japanese words reflecting Western natural sciences and political systems began to flow into China on a large scale due to the success of Japanese reforms and the needs of modernization in China.After the middle of the 20th century,more and more Japanese words reflecting social life continued to be input into Chinese.Although the borrowing of language is only one of the many linguistic phenomena between different languages,it is extremely complex in terms of acceptance and change.The object of study in this article is Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese,which is a special Japanese loan word.On one hand,the scholars have different opinions on its definition,on the other hand,the existing researchs around Return Word of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese are mainly focused on the description of vocabulary types,but nearly mentioned the influence to modern Chinese.Therefore,this article firstly sorts out the process of establishing the name of the Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese and clarifies its connotation scope.Secondly,through quantitative statistics on the Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese included in the Xinhua Dictionary of Loan Words(2019),the relevant corpus of this research object can be obtained.By analyzing the linguistic characteristics of these words,we can grasp the general situation of the Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese.Finally,based on a combination of dictionary definitions and a large number of real corpora in the BCC corpus,this paper focuses on the analysis of the influence of the Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese on the semantic changes of modern Chinese.The main part of this article is divided into three chapters.The introduction part focuses on the research object,research purpose and significance,research methods and research review.The first chapter mainly introduces the collection of Japanese source regression words in the Xinhua Dictionary of Loan Words(2019),and quantitatively counts 173 Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese.The second chapter mainly analyzes the linguistic characteristics such as the phonetic,grammatical,and semantic characteristicss of Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese in the Xinhua Loanword Dictionary,and reveals that the emergence of the above characteristics is closely related to the Chinese characteristics and the historical background of the inflow of Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese.The third chapter analyzes the influence of Japanese on the semantic change of Chinese through the medium of Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese from the perspective of language contact,and analyzes the characteristics of its formation.By analyzing the corpus of this article,the influence of Return Words of Chinese Loan Words in Japanese on Chinese semantics mainly includes four cases:Semantic reconstruction,semantic derivation,semantic reduction and semantic overlay.Among them,the semantic reconstruction is the most significant way of daily rheological changes in Chinese.The last part of the conclusion summarizes the three chapters of the whole study,and points out the shortcomings of the study and the direction of subsequent research.
