Modern Foreign Fiction Accept "misread" The Phenomenon Of Study

Today, from text misreading to culture misreading, the misreading theory has grown to a theory system including rich meaning, after set forth by Harold. Bloom. This thesis expounds one misreading theory system including the meaning, academic expounding and aesthetics effects of misreading. Confined by "former-bias" which is formed by their cultural tradition, living habitude and knowledge structure, it is inevitable that people accept different cultures by misreading. In general, misreading between different cultures will lead to negative effect, but in many ways it can result in unexpected positive effect, consequently promoting the development of native culture. With this misreading theory, this thesis is to analyze one kind of literature misreading phenomenon betweendifferent cultures - the misreading phenomena in foreign novelacceptance of Late Qing Dynasty, to search the culture roots of these phenomena, and illuminate the positive and negative aesthetics effects.The misreading phenomena in foreign novel acceptance of Late Qing Dynasty mostly include two points: one is the misreading of novel function. Liang Qichao' s misreading to Japanese politics novels is the representative example. Many new-novel critics, driven by urgent intention to save the nation, from the point of view of traditional novel function and "Literature is to convey Tad" , suddenly found the novel was popular and effecting, and it was the superexcellent tool to "conveyTao"-publicize new knowledge and save the nation. So they made greatefforts to advocate that novel could save the nation. In their opinion, the functions of novel mainly include two points: first, novel is the edge tool to save the nation, and is the best tool to express their politics views and lead the social strength; second, novel is the intermedium to transmit advanced science and culture knowledge from the west and can illumine people' s wisdom. So they took it for granted to find that theOccident and Japanese both relied on politics novels to accomplish their revolution. Another is the misreading in novel narration pattern. The historicity tradition of Chinese novel, the aesthetic criterion focusing on plot and the absence of democracy and freedom enthusiasm and personality in Late Qing Dynasty made misreading inevitable when new-novel critics took in foreign novels. When concerned narration time, they predigested modern narration time of western novel to hyperbaton narration, and then focused on " the abrupt beginning" , and never grasped the flexibility that western novel narration time can cut time according to expression requirements; when concerned the narration angle, "I" in the works of new-novel critics is only the thread to link the stories, and the works never cares about the idea and sensation of "I" ; when concerned the narration framework, for the obstinacy of the tradition of Chinese novel preference in plot, it is the most difficult to take in. New-novel critics never recognized the aesthetics value of human custom, and the description of landsceipe and social background.On the history of novel aesthetics, the misreading in foreign novel acceptance of Late Qing Dynasty delayed the maturity of Chinese neoteric novel, but it certainly enhanced the status of novel and blazed a trail for the development of novel; it not grasped the essential meaning of the west novel narration pattern but really broke the traditional narration pattern of Chinese novel and created the unique narration skills of neoteric China novel.
