The Popular Culture Of Contemporary Interior Design Style

Interior design is one of the important part of modern arts and design science. The development and change in the artistic styles of interior design are closely related to the contemporary culture background and social formation and structure of the society as a whole. Recent years have seen the growth and diversification of both the pattern and content of the interior design in China, along with the social progress and development. This paper tries, from the angle of popular culture, to give an in-depth study of the styles of interior design, thus to reveal the situation of current development of interior design under this special social circumstances, and to show the influence of the popular culture to the development of interior design styles.Structure of this paper: Firstly, this paper, from the viewpoint of humanity science, gives an elaboration of the basic notion, the development and the content of popular culture. Meanwhile, this paper tries to analyze the formation of Chinese "population" today and the current situation in the development of popular culture.
