This paper focuses attentions on the depiction of the female role in the works of Hemingway.Firstly, This paper gave a brief introduction of Hemingway and his works which provided a model of analysis. This paper points out that Hemingway's experience have affected his invention in the field of literature. There are many different viewpoints on the topic of female role in the works of Hemingway. This paper points out that as a writer who has deep sense of autobiography Hemingway experienced the war and much personal experience, which play an important role in the period of invention of literature. In the literature critical circumstance, it's a common phenomena that the critics expressed many different viewpoints on the topic of the female role in the works of Hemingway such as they were no independent personality but convention appearance and naive mind.Part II of this paper provides two angles of comprehension on the topic of Hemingway's works.
