This thesis is about tutors of private schools in the works of the vernacular novel in Ming and Qing Dynasties .My study on the question is going on by following three chapters.The Preface includes the explanation of the subject of the subject's selection and its significance, a summary of previous studies on this subject, and a brief introduction of the outline.Chapter one discusses the private schools ,the tutors of private schools and appearance in the vernacular novel in Ming and Qing Dynasties., analyzes the reasons I thought the appearing in a large amount of it.Chapter two give the impression of their image-building on the whole, in novelists' eyes, well-behaved tutor of private school image, but the impression that more tutors of private school leave for readers is that economic poverty , status are petty and low; Wanting in ability and shallow in knowledge. Chapter three analyzes the literature image of tutors of private schools mainly. This chapter divides into four and carries on the discussion to reason with gloomy literature image of the tutors.The reasons includes the realistic basis of image-building, from four respects: Including economic status , social status , knowledge training,, person wind and influence , teacher of wind ,etc. offer the realistic basis to tutor of private school image-building correctly; Section two analyse the influence of commercial operation of the novel, Certainly, the novelist, to the introspection of one's own existing problem of the tutor of private school, is a factor that can't be ignored of influencing tutor of private school image-building too, this question probed into mainly by section three. Section four discusses the influence of image-building to the tutor of private school of imperial examination system mainly, from the impact on tutors of private schools of imperial examination system mainly, the common people under imperial examination system psychology this festival,etc.The novel, as a kind of literature types, though not a faithful record of the life, can refract real shade through it. Through to this special colony that was moulded in the vernacular novel in the Ming and Qing Dynasties —The analysis of the tutors of privateschools image is combed, people find that their position is very low. Though " honouring the teacher " is run through in the feudal society all the time as a kind of fine cultural tradition , but it only stay in word , in the books. It is not enough for feudal society to raise and educate paying attention to in making a guess, put into actually not big , fail to really attract outstanding talents to participate, which cause the educational idea to be outmoded, the educational content is single , the educational means lags behind, it is very insufficient too that the development to talents is trained.Today, the whole society moves towards modernizedly , have certain reference meaning and enlighten the meaning.
