Li Case Of Autumn Accordion Sonata Study

Among the introduced western musical instruments, with its beautiful sound, broad tone quality and abundant expression, the accordion occupies a very important position on the large stage of musical instrument of China. Through the rapid development of nearly half a century, the accordion has become a popularizing member of musical instruments at home. Besides that, it has already made a staggering success in many respects, such as teaching, performing and combining with national music culture, etc. Taking a broad view of the overall situation, the Chinese accordion undertaking is in a period of flourishing development. Li Yuqiu is the professional composer who has the most motive force to our Chinese accordion artistic development. He has been still cultivating quietly so far since he resumed the accordion music composition career in the 1980s. The creations of Mr li have substantial content, and they are not restricted to one pattern. Among the numerous works of excellence, the three sonatas which are composed by Li Yuqiu in the end of last century are the works embodying his utmost effort in his 70s. And they are the great examples of the contemporary domestic accordion works. With these three sonatas as the breakthrough point ,this thesis approaches Mr Li's works from different angles, such as background , musical form , mode transferring , rhythm beat and humanity etc. Through the comparatively careful analysis, this thesis aims to excavate the true essence of these works, seek this special musician's composition thoughts and achievements during the special historical stage of the end of the 20th century, sum up the style of his works and individual characters, thus offer an objective historical comment on its function in the development history of accordion music in China.
