Sonata in B Minor is composed by Chaikin Nikolai Yakovlevich during the Great Patriotic War with bayan accordion.The writer is a famous composer,performer and music educator of the former Soviet Union.Based on the creation background,the thesis analyzes the music noumenon and the creation elements of the sonata with the aim of exploring performance techniques of it.The thesis holds that Sonata in B Minor,full of tension in music performance,embodies complex playing skills of accordion and the realistic theme of eulogizing the motherland and longing for victory,which makes the sonata an inspiration of the morale and a milestone work in accordion history by the fusion of the composing thinking of the symphony and national style of Russian music.
