This thesis comprises four parts. The first part, beginning with a discussion of the nature of language, briefly introduces the theory of language mutation, and points out the elements that influence language mutation and the relationship between language mutation and language change. The second part presents an introduction to the history and the status quo of the studies of sex language, and concurrently shows the prospects of their development. The highlight of this thesis consists in the third part, which analyzes in a detailed manner the characteristics of the mutation of female language in terms of pronunciation, use of words and body language, among which the second, concerning itself with words of color, expletives, exclamation, words of tone and intensifies, is underlined. The causes of the mutation of female language and its development tendency are explored in the last part. The thesis concludes that characteristics typical of female language do exist in the aspects of sound, use of language and body language, which all point to the effort to show the female charm and beauty.
