Yin Ruins Burial Burial Pottery Combination Study

On the basis of forefathers' research, the dissertation carried on comparatively study with the firsthand materials the collection of ware in the grave that excavated scientifically, from the longitudinal and latitudinal aspects. Longitude analysed the change of ware collection in graves in the different periods on the basis of the time. Latitude referred to the change of the collection of ware in graves in the same periods and different areas in order to know about the social customs and relations of the time and so on.The article had a preliminary conclude on the ware collection of more than 1900 graves already published in Yin Ruins after liberation. On the basis of the four periods of culture of Yin Ruin , we have divided graves into four periods, namely, the First ,the Second ,the Third and the Fourth period of Yin Ruins' graves .At the same time ,the author concluded and analysed the wares in different graves .Finally the author classified the different purposed wares .According to the different uses of ware, the author divided the collection of ware into seven types .wine utensil; cooking , eating utensil; wine utensil and cooking , eating utensil combination; stored utensil ?, cooking, eating utensil and stored utensil combination; wine utensil and cooking , eating utensil and stored utensil combination; Fang Tong ware .Referring the collection of all kinds of wares, the author researched respectively from the different periods and areas. Studies have shown that the number of wine utensil has increased ,especially ,wine utensil and cooking, eating utensil combination has occupied a large proportion in Late Shang Dynasty.The collection of wares among Early and Middle Shang, Yin Ruins and West Zhou Dynasty had the difference and relation .The ware collection in Yin Ruins developed from the Er Li Gang Period .In addition ,it had far-reaching influence on the early West Zhou Dynasty .In Yin Ruins period, although the eating utensil is increasing, the number of wine utensil has a great deal of proportion, the collection of ware is yet the wine utensil collection and isn't the eating utensil collection . To prevail wine utensil, it reflects that people is addicted to wine in Late Shang Period.
