Nowadays, Public Rites, as means of constructing emotional atmosphere, emerge in our visual field with more and more concentrated degree. Modern Public Rites have taken qualitative change with various forms. However, for a long period, the research of Rites has concentrated on the fields of Sociology,Anthropology and Drama. This thesis, for the first time, explains culture meaning of this public action through the angle of design . Beginning with various vision forms of Public Rites, this thesis inspects the basic character of Public Rites, carefully analyzes the three aspects of its constituted visual form, probes into its changed inner rule and regularity, deeply discusses the change of the worth function of modern rites, and further concludes the influence of culture spreads caused by various vision forms. Finally this thesis summarizes the research value of Rites in the field of design, expands the inside meaning and extent of design for the future analysis and research .
