System Design Theory To Display Design

In the information-equipped society, people 's consciousness to communicate has been strengthened with the fast developing science and technology and the appearance of various emerging carriers. Hosts of different kinds of exhibitions are not satisfied any longer with the simplex old-fashioned way of information transfer, by which the carrier is only the product; they expect the designers to exploit the potential of information transfer of the products in exhibitions and to adopt effective design methods to improve the quality and capacity of the information transfer, so as to provide better services for all kinds of exhibitions. Based on system theory and accommodated to the situation that modern design are more and more limited and complicated due to the environment, subjects and factors, which is a general guide in modern science study, systems approach in design puts the subject investigated in to a system, studies the subject precisely and all-sided by considering the relationship between the whole and the individual, the individual and the individual, the whole and the external environment, so as to establish optimized targets and to attain a scientific method to realize them. It is as well a significant guidance and bears applicable value in modern exhibition design. From the general procedures in systems approach in design (systematic analysis-systematic design-systematic practice), this thesis analyzes and summarizes the principles of systems approach in design en bloc and then generates proper design methodology in order to guide design and construction.
