On The Relationship Between Context And Discourse Communication

After a brief discussion of verbal communication and its importance, this paper aims to explore the factors that influence verbal communication through context. On the basis of a correct and thorough understanding of these factors, rhetorical devices are used to realize the effective control over them, and therefore to fulfill the purpose of utilizing and increasing advantages, decreasing and avoiding disadvantages, and changing disadvantages into advantages. In this way, we can fulfill the purpose of communication, achieve a better effect of verbal communication, and have a smooth interpersonal relationship. Apart from that, the individual quality can be improved, and the social values can be elevated.
