Piano teaching is the basic subject in music educational area. For thestudents in normal schools, the study of piano is not only a way to boosttheir general qualities and culture, but also a skill they are supposed tomaster. At present, piano classes in Shandong Normal Colleges aremostly in the forms of digital piano collective teaching, which is a kind ofteaching patter comprising traditional piano teaching, modern techniques,and collective classes. This teaching pattern is not only propitious to theteachers' regulation and control of the class ,the students' feed-back, thediversification of teaching information, but also propitious to thestudents' active taking part in and discussion, and the communion ofteaching resources. Also, this teaching pattern is conformance to thetrends of our country's music teaching reforms, showing thecharacteristics of the normal schools and boost its efficiency as well as itsmodernization. With the implement of Music Courses Criterion, the digital pianocollective teaching will be directly affected by the new reform of basicteaching courses. Under the new courses concept, the digital pianocollective teaching is no more a teaching of skills or technique ,it hasbecome a kind of music culture. Its humanism, pluralism, colligation andcreation have been clearly put forward. The new Courses Criterion has itsnew concept, new target and new contents, gives a higher and all-roundrequirements to the digital piano collective teaching.The author made a study of the present situation of digital pianoteaching, expatiated its meaning and value, stated in detail that under theguidance of new courses concept, the digital piano collective teachingshould stick to the principles of unification of science and education,combination of theory and practice , and the teacher's position as aguiding role while the students' role as an active part. The author alsointroduced 5 strategies, which are grouping strategies, systemic lecturingstrategies, cooperation training strategies, opening classes strategies, andcollective comment and evaluation strategies.The reform of new courses is first a reform of teachers' educationalnotion, teaching behavior and teaching roles. So the author discussedanother issue as what is the teachers' role under the guidance of newcourse concept, pointing out that the improvement of teachers' qualitieswill make great significance to the digital piano collective teaching.The research and investigation of digital piano collective teachingmeets the need of new times and new situation. In the above process ofresearch, the construction of theory and the operation of practice are stillnot strong. As a result, we must stand on a high altitude, try our best tomake a careful research on the connotation of piano classes, teachingstrategies and teaching practice. These are the keys to the developmentand success of the reform of new courses. In the thesis, the author putforward some primary opinions, and believe that under constant hardworking, the digital piano collective teaching will become more scientificand reasonable.
