Based on the theory of project-based learning method and the digital piano collective class, this paper is about the application of the teaching method in this kind of class. In the research, the writer applies a questionnaire survey of teachers and students in four secondary vocational schools in Dezhou.Focused on students of two classes of 2013 in the writer's school, the writer also made some teaching experiments using combined methods to prove its feasibility of project-based learning method in the digital piano collective class.This paper has finished the main work as follows: First, through consulting the literature materials, the writer collects the domestic and foreign researches about the present situation of project-based learning method to provide the reference basis. Second, this paper introduces four parts to give theoretical foundations for its application in practical teaching: the definition, basic characteristics, comparison with the traditional teaching method and implementation steps of project-based learning method. Third, through analyzing the teaching characteristics and presenting situation of the digital piano collective class, the writer proves the necessity of the implementation of the project. The writer also applies a questionnaire survey of teachers and students in four secondary vocational schools to provide factual evidence. Fourth, the writer has studied the application of project-based learning method process combining with the characteristics of digital piano collective teaching-clear. The writer has listed a number of cases to illustrate the details of project teaching method implementation. Fifth, the writer selected two classes of Dezhou.Normal School for Preschool Teachers to experiment on the project-based learning method of collective digital piano class; and wrote down the detailed specific implementation process, carried on the questionnaires and interviewed the teachers and the students.The result of the experiment has been compared. And the writer has got the conclusions.The conclusions: The application of project-based learning method is feasible and effective in the secondary vocational preschool education digital piano collective class. It can promote and improve the overall level of the secondary vocational digital piano collective class and demonstrate its professional and practice. Therefore the author thinks that the research results will help to the secondary vocational preschool education collective piano class teaching reform and form the digital piano collective class teaching mode. And it can be used in the practical teaching.
