Modern Chinese Psychological Verbs

The paper is about the study of modern Chinese psychology verb. It has determined 87 psychological verbs as the study object which has mainly taken appraisal form as the basis, and has taken "Chinese Verb Usage Dictionary" as the language materials.The paper has classified the psychological verbs, and has examined its grammar combination ability, as well as analyzed its grammar, semantic character and use rule.In the first part of the paper, it's determines the appraisal form, and differs the psychological verb from the nature adjective and the auxiliary verb according to the form. Finally it gives the classification of the psychological verb from different aspects.The second part analyzes the psychological verb on the grammar ingredient, the affirmation -denial form, the reduplication, and the semantic limit to the subject, the object, the adverbial. Moreover, it lists some commonly used sentence patterns.At last, contrasting with the behavior verb, it has highlighted the major grammar character of psychological verb, and has emphasized some semantic characters which likes the subject must be the life body in the psychological verb sentence, which has further explained that the psychological verb as an independent verb minor sort has some special characters on the grammar and the semantic.
