Wang Anyi is an outstanding novelist among both China's contemporary vast number of writers and modern flourishing women writers. This paper, through a feminine angle of view, discusses the creation of Wang's novels. Under the background of feminine literature development in China and the world, the paper gives analysis about Wang's inheritance and development of China's feminine literature which spans the classical era, May-fourth era, the Fifties and Sixties period, and the modern period. Her creation of novels is divided into three stages according to artistic changes. Taking her representative works in each stage as example, her writing technique, subjects, evolution and developing trend are probed into. Through comparison between her works and those of other women writers, such as Zhang Ailing, Zhang Jie, Tie Ning( the two are her contemporaries), Chen Ran in the nineties and new generation women writer Wer Hui, the basic themes of Wang's feminine novels are presented: the feminine self-development, marriage and sexual love, daily life. The themes reflect her concern about feminine consciousness in living and life. The main line in her works is feminine self-development. Her writing techniques are appetite writing and folk stories narrating. So the cognition process from sentiment to construction is well displayed.
