Zolotaryov is one of heavyweight composers in the modern andcontemporary development history of accordion. As one of the famouscomposer in modern Russia, he has produced many works characterized bywide genres, different styles and special composing skills. Many of themhave taken the fancy of their players in international competitions andat all kinds of concerts. Some competition of concert was named after himin Russia. With great musical gift and great love for accordion, he haswritten numerous excellent accordion works within the 14-year productivecareer. A kind of special melodic strain lies in his works, representingthe style of his composition, such as Children's Suites, Ispaniada andSonata No.3. The specialty not only helps the audience to recognize hisworks, but also represents the different styles of his composition.The work of Six Children's Suites typifying the Zolotaryov 's stylestands out from others because of its unique features and colorfulrepresentation. By analysis of it, we'll get a better view of thecomposing characteristics and the style features of Zolotaryov 's works.The perfect emotional union of the composer and his works will be showed,and the process of his gradual maturity to composition will be perceived.Based on the genre and various subjects, the paper will analyze the factorsthat influenced Zolotaryov's composition. The music self and performanceof Six Children's Suites will be carefully researched and some necessaryillustrations will be given. The main content is like the following:Chapter Ⅰ is about the factors that influenced Zolotaryov'scomposition. It showed us his personal narrative, social backgrounds, thefeatures of his works' genre and other factors objectively andsubjectively. ChapterⅡis about Musical analysis on Six Children'sSuites. Based on the music self analysis, it presented how the emotionwas conceived combining the traditional and modern musical analysis,which has been prepared for the later chapter. ChapterⅢ is about thecharacteristics of Six Children's Suites. Our main discussionsproceeding from the out side to the inside fall into four spheres: themusic language, the works' style, compose thinking of Bayan andcontradiction. ChapterⅣ is about some suggestions and illustrations onhow to perform Six Children's Suites. They will be analyzed from theperformance of every Child's suit. The last Chapter illustrates thecharacteristics and values of the work. The myth of Zolotaryov by no meansaffected people's interest to him, his works and his important statusin the development of accordion.
