Jizhong Liberated Areas Frontline Work Investigated The Liberation War

At the beginning of the Liberation War , Hebei province as the strategic areas became the main battlefield between Kuomintang and the Communist party. The liberated areas in the center of Hebei responded the call of the government and organized many people to support the front line . In this process , there were many defects , but they also gained achievements. This text mainly analyzes and describes the activities of supporting the front line in the center of Hebei province during the Liberation War. This text is divided into three parts totally.The first part describes the development of supporting the front line in the center of Hebei province. The central areas of Hebei had organized many actions effectively to guarantee the victory of the Liberation War. These actions included: organizing the war duty, supplying food and firewood, providing the people who supported the front line with food, mobilizing people to join the army, and breaking or repairing the roads and so on. In this part author emphasizes the war duty which was organized by these areas. Including: establishing the civilian war service mechanism, educating the labourers, utilizing the manpower rationally, bearing the burden of the war by businessman ,and recording workpoints, all these actions were put into practice so the mission of supporting the front line was completed smoothly.The second part emphasizes the problems rising in supporting the front line and measures that were taken to solved these problems. Because mission was huge and complicated, the process of it emerged many problems, such as laborers absenting, soldiers fleeing and empiricism and bureaucracy appearing in work as well as wasting manpower and material resources. Facing these problems the central areas of Hebei strengthened the education in ideology , implemented rewords and punishments, did farmwork for a soldier's family to solve the problem of products. What the central areas of Hebei do ensured the success of supporting the front line. At the same time these areas overcame the phenomenon of waste to save the manpower and the material resources.The third part summarizes the success obtained in the process of supporting the front line. To guarantee the aid in the front line, the central areas of Hebei raised a great quantity of food, grass and non-staple food;mobilized a large number of manpower and material resources;organized all kinds of work to comfort soldiers;encouraged people to produce positively;collected money. Because the central areas of Hebei effectively organized the civilian war service and overcame the mistakes which were made in the past, all these works gained great achievements and layed some ground work for the success of the Liberation War.
