There are many famous Afro-American stars in contemporary literature cycles. Toni Morrison is the brightest one. Her visual angle always projects on the life and culture of American Blacks. In her third novel "Song of Solomon" she used the history of family to reflect the history of Afro-American. In this novel the history of family is a kind of simile. It represents the development process, and the author's the review and re-thinking of the history of Afro-American nation. Through the analysis of the difficulty experience of Afro-American when they pursued the culture belongs to themselves, which showed in Song of Solomon, Toni Morrison makes the process of finding the culture root of Afro-American more clearly, and points out the results, of Morison's thinking: Black culture still has the limitless vitality, it is the source of Blacks power. The future culture tree must be planted in the traditional black culture. Spread the tradition of black culture, regress to the human nature in reality, construct the culture which is not only represents the tradition of black nation, but also be suitable to the modern life of Afro-American.
