The Wei-Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties are the Chinese scenery esthetic high tide time, the main symbol of which is the prosperity of the mountain and water poems and paintings at that time. The esthetic field generally believes that the incentive that the famous litterateurs at that time indulged in the enjoyment of nature, is to take the nature as the symbol of spiritual freedom, thus enabled to alleviate the phrenalgia that the darkness at that time brought to the human. This article believes that, the starting of the Wei Jin scenery esthetic ideological, is; based on the continuation and development of the scenery esthetic tradition since the pre-qin, besides the time factor. The listing to this tradition, not only may discover the characteristic of Chinese esthetics evolution, moreover also may find the Wei Jin scenery esthetic distinctive quality in the historical comparison.First, in the pre-qin time, the literary arts creation had already massively involved the scenery esthetic issues. Like the short articles in Chinese antiquity myth "Poetry", the poems filled with sad emotion and the magnificent imagination in "Chu elegies", always took the natural mountains and rivers as esthetically object which sent and imagined. In other words, the Chinese literature in its primary time, the natural scenery already was the important subject which sent interest.At the same time, in the aspect of philosophy thought resources, the Confucianist and Taoism's natural scenery thought esthetic has also had the very tremendous influence on the Chinese scenery. The Confucianist appreciate the scenery as the ethical spirit comparison, symbolization. With difference to Confucianist, Taoism looks at the natural scenery from the identical between man and nature ,from the spiritual consoling which human obtains in the nature. Zhuang-zi makes widely known the human and the natural equality vigorously. Only under the premise of equality, can human go to the contemplation natural scenery by the esthetic manner.Next, at two Chinese times, from the aspect of literary arts, esthetic has already reached fitting the natural scenery and feeling together, unrecognizing oneself and others.
