The negative image of this text mainly refers to the image except the new subject image that revolutionary ideology built in 17 years novel, is all obstacles on the road to revolution. That is to say, it is the other image of revolution, including counter-revolutionary image and backward image mainly.In the 17 years political linguistic context of revolution, literature is in a kind of politicized state. The revolutionary ideology occupies the absolute subject position in this overriding literature frame. The negative image is controlled and narrated, even if the negative image is present, always is in a kind of absent state. They almost have no discourse power, and been defined and realized essential meaning through the revolutionary narration of writer. We can reveal the cover that the single political visual angle leads to through the political culture visual angle. While understanding the backward image that full of more abundant meanings, it may be clearer if we investigate the relation between folk culture and political culture.This text mainly choose despotic landlord image , treason image, rural backward cadre image, rural backward woman image, and separately observes and analyzes them from restrain rhetoric, revolutionary blood lineage theory, culture collide, political rule train. Thus we could find, in this political culture linguistic context, revolutionary ideology is the most lofty, it controls the literary creation of the whole era by its own absolute meaning. Literature text demonstrates political text, and divides images according to political narration of text strictly. All chases the political ideology. It lead to political culture present obviously and the negative image absent in the 17 years novel text.
