This thesis mainly talks about the development of narrative novels in the Kuomintang's reign during the wartime. Taking the Kuomintang's reign of 1940s' as the argument center, the situation of 1920s' and 30s' as reference, it studies the stimulation and defilade of narrative novels in the Kuomintang'sreign by proceeding from war-----the context of narrative novels. This thesis fallsinto four parts.Taking the war as its background, the first part makes a survey of the special environment of caused by war in the Kuomintang's reign and from which brings the specific aspect. The specific view in religions, the special the subject of narration and the unearth of the new idea of special intention are studied in this part. The first part also describes the overall look of the transfer of the narrative novels centers in the Kuomintang's reign.The second part makes the exploration of the corresponding turn of the narrative novels' forms under the strong influence of war culture. And it makes further explanation that this transfer is not only the evidence of the literature progress but also the devious expression of social change (including life formation and ideology) in literature fields.The third part, starting from the shift of narrative aspect, taking respectively the view of child narrative, culture analysis and temporal as the point of penetration, studies the interchange of the living environment, social environment; culture environment and also the spiritual pursue and value orientation of people.Combining the specific exposition mentioned above of narrative novels in the Kuomintang's reign, the fourth part makes analysis of the reason of invitation and change of the narrative novels from many aspects such as society, economy and culture, and surveys the positive and negative influence brought by the birth of new narrative elements.
