Wan Baoshan Event

Wanbaoshan(万宝山) Incident broke out in the July, 1931, while the Korean immigrates ganged up with the Chinese unscrupulous merchants to reclaim the farmlands illegally under the protection of the Japanese military policemen. The Korean immigrates were encouraged by the Japanese imperialism without authorization to the Changchun, the hinterland of the Northeastern China.After the Japanese occupied the Korea, the neighbor of China, many Korean farmers were forced to immigrate into the Northeastern China in succession for escaping from the enslavement of the Japanese colonialism domination. The Japanese forced many people to immigrate form home to the Northeastern China and Korea, which became the important national policy. The Japanese not only immigrated the Japanese people to the Northeastern China, but also encouraged and expelled a great deal of Korean farmers to the Northeastern Chins. In fact, all of which means that the Korean immigrates were used by the Japanese as the important tool of invading the Northeastern China.The Chinese government and people generally thought that the Koreans in the Northeastern China were the Japanese pioneers of invading Northeastern China, therefore the warlords of the Northeastern China restricted and excluded the Korean Minority, creating so many incidents to persecute the Korean Minority in the late 1920' s that the relations between the Korean Minority and Han nationality strained and deteriorated day by day.Wanbaoshan, located in the Sanqu of Changchun prefecture, off the 30-kilometer northwest Changchun, came within the jurisdiction of the Chinese government. It was not attached to the Mantie(满铁) and the special zone delimited by the Sino-Japanese Tumen River Boundary Treaty (1909).Wanbaoshan Incident was enlarged by the Japanese deliberately and created wholly by the Japanese aggressive policy.
