The Chinese Communist Party regarded those Korean revolutionists as "dual nationality ".After the liberation war, the Korean cadres led troops back to North Korea and merged with the people’s army in order to prepare for the unification of the Korean peninsula. In North Korea, after Kim Il-Sung and other cadres had established the regime, they offered a great deal of support to the Northeast Bureau of Chinese Communist Party which was struggling in the war of liberating Northeast China with the Kuomintang at that time.
