Qin Guan Poetry Artistic Characteristics

Qin Guan is in the famous list, one of the "Four Outstanding Students of Su Shi"o This thesis is focus on the lyrics written by Qin Guan.Qin Guan is one of the top lyricist of Song. He is famous for his works in literature and art and he is a representative writer of the group of graceful and restrained written manner. An opinion of his lyrics is "others just describe the materials of lyrics , but in the lyrics of Qin Guan, we can get the heart of the materials". Qin Guan, who is amorous, sensitivity and exquisite in feeling, is an expert of catching the most subtle emotional changes. He concentrate two main themes of literature "feeling and worry", and produce the elegant, gentle, graceful, pregnant and beautiful works, which both absorbed the excellence of others famous lyrics and included his own techniques and smart. His lyrics are very famous and attractive along the history without reference to long or short version. Even more, with the time pass by, Qin Guan's Ci is becoming more and more honor and fascinated.In the thesis, a comprehensive study of Qin Guan's lyrics is proposed from some elaborate aspects, especially the artistic characteristics lie in his lyrics are discussed.
