Fengshan was a behavior to offer sacrifices to gods. It was a well developed manifestation of the visit to a sacred land by ancient emperors. In Chinese feudalism society, the emperors were always favored of Fengshan. Fengshan were almost held at Mt. Tai. There were six emperors in Chinese feudalism society, which lasted more than 2,000 years, had held Fengshan in Mt. Tai, they were Qinshihuang, Hanwudi, Hanguangwudi, Tanggaozong, Tangxuanzong and Songzhenzong. This paper mainly studies on the original, course and reasons of Fengshan, especially on the affect of Fengshan in Mt. Tai.This paper is about 32,000 Chinese characters. In the foreword, it states the significance, present conditions and the method on the theme. Besides this, the text is made up of four parts.Part 1 is the investigation and explanation of Fengshan. It talks about the earliest document and the original meaning of Fengshan. Fengshan appears the earliest in Fengshan of Guanzi. The original meaning of Fengshan is: Feng is to give an account of its contribution to the sky gods on Mt. Tai; Shan is to give an account of its contribution to the land gods at the root of Mt. Tai.Part 2 discusses the original of Fengshan in Mt. Tai and the emperors who take Fengshan in Mt. Tai. It mainly talks about the understanding of Mt. Tai from Pre-Qin to Han dynasties. Mt. Tai worship is the representative of mountain worship in China, the original of Fengshan at Mt. Tai. It talks about the emperors who took ceremony of Fengshan at Mt. Tai, and etc.Part 3 talks about the culture, politics, economy and religion reasons of Fengshan at Mt. Tai. The area where Mt. Tai located was one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, and the economy and culture were well developed. The primitive religion remains and the special location were all the reason why Fengshan was held in Mt. Tai.
