With the rapid development of internal anti-imperialism and anti- feudal struggle, as well as the widespread of Marxism , the bud of proletarian literature came into being in China and Korea almost at the same time around the mid of 1920's, and soon developed into vigorous literature movement under the influence of the international proletarian literature movement. From the mid of 1920's to the mid of 1930's, the literary world of China and Korea was in Red. It is "the union of left-wing writers of China" and KAPF that is the main flags of the proletarian literature movement of the two country.There are many similarities between "the union of left-wing writers of China" and KAPF , such as the process of foundation, the literature theory and ideas and the inditement of literature. But, there also are obvious differences between them, such as their organizational structure, political tint and the process of their disorganization because of the idiographic situation of the two country. This thesis try to reveal the similarities and differences between Chinese and Korean left-wing literature through the comparison between the two left-wing literary organization. The thesis is in five parts:The first part discusses the background of the foundation of "the union of left-wing writers of China" and KAPF. The early sparkplug of revolutionary literature emerged in the literary world of China around 1923. But it was intermitted by "the northern expidition'Mt was not until 1927 that it was put on the agenda again after the first demestic revolutionary war failed because of the betray of Kuomintang. And so there was the contestation about "revolutionary literature" from1928 to 1929. The contestation prepared organizationally and mentally for the foundation of "the union of left-wing writers of China". After the "3ยท1 movement" , the national independence movement of Korea developed rapidly with the resurgence of race consciousness. Affected by the socialist thought in the national independence movement, the "new trend literature" appeared in Korean literature world, and it is accountted as the infancy of Korean proletarian literature.The second part discusses the specific course of the foundation of "the union of left-wing writers of China" and KAPF, and their program, "the union of left-wing writers of China" was founded on March 2,1930.It was made up of revolutionary...
