In most people's impression, the strategic place of left-wing cultural movement is Shanghai. The publication of "Northern left-wing cultural movement compilation of information" indicated that Beijing, Tianjin were also the left-wing culture movement strategic places. At present the research of the academic circle to Shanghai as the center of the left-wing culture movement has been more fully, but the North left-wing cultural movement research basically has not yet opened. This paper taking "Northern left-wing cultural movement compilation of information" as a main body, concurrently with other relevant information, does a comprehensive preliminary study on the north of left-wing cultural movement.This paper consists of introduction, three chapters of supporting paragraphs and conclusion.The introduction,on the macro level, makes a detailed explanation of the significance about the selected topic, the research present situation, theoretical framework and the research technique to fully demonstrate the research purpose. Especially there is a meticulous combing to the studies on the left-wing culture movement since the founding of New China as fully as possible.The first chapter inspects the north left-wing culture movement's main body the north left-wing cultural organization's establishment and their activities. The second chapter reveals the main content of the north left-wing cultural movement which is the establishment of proletarian culture. This chapter includes the introduction of Marxist theory, promoting anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism, advocating the class struggle and encouraging popularization of literature and art; The third chapter inspected the criticism about "reactionary theory", which is made by the left-wing culture persons on the position of proletariat culture, mainly focusing on the criticism to Three People's Principles and Liberalism.The conclusion explains the position of the left-wing culture movement in the development history of revolutionary culture from the location of the history, and inspects the reasons for the left-wing cultural movement's rise and the problems produced.
