Lü Shi Chun Qiu , as one of the most important and summary works of all kinds of thoughts and works during pre-Qin times plays a bridge role in the thoughts and culture' s development and change in ancient times in China .Just like other works of the great thinkers during that time, Lü Shi Chun Qiu comprehensively used allegory as the basis of the theory about how to regulate the new country .According to Mr Chen Puqing' s "Chinese Ancient Allegory History" ,there are 283 allegory in all in the book .This paper focuses on the allegory in Lll Shi Chun Qiu and discusses the characteristics of allegory during pre-Qin times . In order to study the allegory in the book in a comprehensive way , it is divided into five parts. The first part generally tell the readers about the present situation in the field about the subject in the paper and the meaning of studying on the subject .The second part is the generalization of the allegory in the book . It comprehenses the reasons for forming the allegory, the thoughts and contents of the allegory. The reasons for forming the allegory are the development of the thingking capability of human beings and the development of the literature. Allegory getting from stories and allegory about the thoughts of other thinkers in pre-Qin times are the main contents of the allegory in the book . The third part focuses on the artistic style of the allegory in the book . It relates with literature most . It comprehenses the character-molding , the structure of the allegory in reasoning , the language style .The character-molding is about the types of the character and the character-molding with process of the stories. For the structure of the allegory in reasoning , it relates the construction and the role of the construction.
