With the development of society and the transformation of family structure, peer conflicts became more and more often in daily life. During the process of resolving conflicts children can learn how to negotiate, help each other and how to cooperate and enhance the ability of social communication. Resolving the peer conflicts effectively has been regarded as the key point of children for their healthy growth, construction of good peers relationship and adaptation of society. However, if the conflicts can't be resolved correctly, many negative outcomes will be taken place, which will influence children's self-esteem, self-confidence and even cause mental disorders. At present, many researches on the model of resolving peer conflicts, the influential factors as well as the resolving strategy have been done by a lot of scholars. Moreover, interventions and preventions for peer conflicts are come into notice by them. However, researches of intervention are rare, especially in the area of primary school students. In this paper, the author retrospected the researches about the resolve strategy of peer conflicts from abroad and at home, analyzed the previous researches, and attempted to intervene from three aspects, such as empathy ability, attribution style and social communication.A 2×2 factors experimental design was used in this research. And two classes from Grade 3 and Grade 5 of YuXing Primary School He Fei city were selected respectively, one of which was randomly taken as experimental group and the other one as control group. The two test groups accepted cognitive method training within three months and they were intervened from three aspects (empathy ability, attribution style and social skills of communication). All activities of intervening were used both group counselling and case study way. Control groups weren't accepted any training. Moreover, quantitative and qualitive evalution, evalution by others and self- evalution, and immediate evalution and follow-up evalution were combined in this research. After intervention, further comparison between experimental groups and control groups were undertaken for exploring its direct effect (the resolving of peer conflicts) and indirect effect (peers relationship).
